What is seecop, in one line?
A signed-in common operating picture: live open-source feeds on one map, plus an AI assistant that reads them and runs grounded lookups.
Do I need any API keys?
No. The map and the assistant run on the lab's keys. If a page ever asks a visitor to enter a key, it is not part of seecop. See Privacy & access.
How do I get an account?
There is no password account. Access is by email one-time PIN, and your address has to be allow-listed by the operator first. Walkthrough in Getting started.
Where does the AI run?
On a model hosted on the lab's own hardware. Your questions are not sent to an external LLM provider, which keeps them private and free of per-token cost.
How fresh is the data?
Fast layers such as aircraft and vessels refresh in seconds. Slower layers — news, hazards, some catalogs — update on their own cadence, from minutes to weekly. Lookups are cached for about a minute so repeated questions stay quick.
Why is a layer empty or thin?
Some layers are richer once the operator adds a key (for example global aircraft or vessel gap-fill), and some are opt-in and off by default. The Map layers reference marks which is which.
What seecop is not
It is not a scanner or an attack tool. Lookups are passive, read public third-party data one target at a time, and identify themselves politely. seecop is for authorized and lab use only.
Does it work on mobile?
Yes. The site and docs are responsive, and the map and assistant load in a mobile browser once you have signed in.
